VALPAW requires at least iOS 17 or newer with an iPhone XS or newer.
VALPAW is not available on Android.

I won't sugarcoat things, the app only works with the Riot login.
Despite the possible high level of distrust of logins, many measures have been taken to provide the user with a degree of stability. This includes, for example, that you do not log in directly via the app, but via the Riot website, so that VALPAW only stores the subsequently created session cookies on your device in the Apple keychain. The resulting tokens (access tokens, id tokens, ...) are not stored, they are only used for the intended lifespan.
TL:DR — If you don't trust the app, that's completely okay
